Elite LB Jaedon Harmon 'ready to get to work' at Tennessee
Rome (Ga.) Rome High School standout Jaedon Harmon flipped his commitment from Alabama to Tennessee in August, and he is now officially set to be a Tennessee Volunteer after signing his National Letter of Intent moments ago.
Harmon had a monster season at Rome as a senior, and he felt like his performances helped show that he is the player he has been billed to be.
“I just feel like I proved that I am the player that I have been represented as and that I am a relentless competitor that is going to give his all every single play at Tennessee,” Harmon told Volquest of this.
The process was stressful for the top-150 prospect at different times, and it is a great feeling to see it come to an end.

“Oh, it feels great,” he said of seeing the process come to an end. “I am excited to get started at Tennessee and know that I found a home that I am comfortable with and that I know that I made the right decision to be able to develop me into being the best player I can be. I am just ready to work.”

Harmon will be an early enrollee at Tennessee in January and is excited to get his career on Rocky Top underway.
“I really just want to see how everyone operates and see how my teammates go about their day and what they do,” the elite prospect said of this. “I want to get acclimated quickly and make it feel like home.”
The Scout on Harmon
“As he started to grow and really bought into the weight program and the speed development, he is super fast at 218 pounds,” Rome Head Coach John Reid told Volquest in August. “The thing that you will notice on his film is that he does not just tackle people, he makes them disappear. He hits. He is a rarity. He is a pass rusher. He can play inside backer. He can play out in the field. He can play safety. I think in his first track meet, he ran a 10.9 at 218 pounds. He ran 4.5 or better in all of the times he has run. He is relentless in coverage and pursuit.”
