Golf Vols paced by Bryce Lewis, put on a clinic in Day one of Purdue Fall Invitational
The seventh-ranked Tennessee’s men’s golf team shot 13-under for the day and leads after two rounds of play at the Purdue Fall Invitational.
Led by Bryce Lewis, who shot -10 for the 36 hole, two round day leads by five. Lewis tallied 16 birdies in those two rounds and looks for another individual title after a phenomenal summer on the individual scene. He also looks to join freshman Caleb Surratt as individual champions during the fall season.
Due to potential weather, tomorrow’s third and final round will be a shotgun start at 9 am.
The team will look to make it consecutive wins after taking home the SEC fall match play title at the end of September.
