In-state DB Zaydyn Anderson talks Vols OV

Greeneville (Tenn.) defensive back Zaydyn Anderson has plenty of familiarity with Tennessee. This weekend, he got to take a deeper look during his official visit. He detailed the stop with Volquest.
“I feel like we’re just all together and, like, talk to everybody and just connected like a family up here,” Anderson said of what stood out about this visit.
Anderson came into the weekend with a couple of questions.
“Probably just how they work inside the football side of stuff,” Anderson said of what he hoped to learn from this weekend. “You know, I grew up over here near, like, not far away, so I already knew about the football team and all that stuff. So just knowing the ins and out of everything.”

He enjoyed getting spend time with Josh Heupel and Willie Martinez during the weekend as well.
“I enjoy how they are there with the players, and how they were on a boat ride with us and stuff like that, so just them being genuine around us.” Anderson said of this.
He also got to learn more about what Tennessee likes about him from the football side.
“I would say my length and stuff like that, so getting on the field and just being able to put it all together. They showed me film and stuff like that and the system they play and how I can fit it into the coverage.”
Anderson hopes to make a decision sometime in the coming weeks.
He says he is looking for a place that provides a home feeling.
