Fast Break: Mashack's late game heroics gives Tennessee huge 79-76 win over Alabama

Tennessee senior Jahmai Mashack entered Vol lore Saturday night when his 40-foot three at the buzzer gave the No. 5 Vols a 79-76 win over No. 6 Alabama in what was an epic college basketball game.
The Vols were down just four at the half thanks to a buzzer beater and-1 lay up from Jordan Gainey which was a huge play. And then in the second half, Tennessee scored 7 points in the final :30 seconds with 5 coming from Mashack to beat the Tide and keep Tennessee firmly in position for potentially a number one seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Mashack finished the day with 11 points and 6 rebounds. Chaz Lanier and Gainey had 18 points to lead the way for Tennessee. Zakai Zeigler who sat most of the first half with two early fouls had 15 points, with 13 coming in the second half.
