Peach State CB Dylan Lewis signs with Tennessee Volunteers
Dylan Lewis has been committed to Tennessee for almost fourteen months, so this signing day has been a long time coming. Lewis just made it official with the Vols as he put pen to paper at Milton High School, and he will get his career started on Rocky Top in the coming days.
Lewis is Tennessee’s longest tenured commitment as he chose the Vols in October of 2023. He has been unwavering in his pledge since.
“Ever since I have first been down there, it has always been home for me,” Lewis said at the time of his commitment on why Tennessee was the right choice for him. “Just hearing the good feedback from the coaches, it just felt like the place I wanted to be.”

The Scout on Lewis
“What I think makes Dylan special is not just his dedication to his craft, but his trust in it,” Milton Head Coach Ben Reaves told Volquest when Lewis committed. “He is good because he plays with such good technique and he trusts his technique. He doesn’t panic. You see a lot of corners that if they get into a bad situation of if they lose a step or get beat off the line, there is a panic mode that occurs there and they freak out and do something they shouldn’t, which allows them to get beat even more or leads to a penalty. Dylan doesn’t do that. He plays calm, cool, collected and trusts his technique. He finds a way to finish out the play the right way. I think that is truly the X-factor about him. As a coach, I appreciate consistency, and I appreciate I know what I am going to get out of him every time.”
