Tennessee AD Danny White announces cabinet promotions, realignment
Tennessee Athletics Director Danny White has announced a realignment of his Athletic Department Cabinet following Allen Greene’s departure to Pittsburgh where he was named the Panthers news athletic department leader last month.
“With Allen Greene set to transition into the role of Athletics Director at the University of Pittsburgh, we find ourselves in a particularly advantageous position,” said White. “This is a prime opportunity to thoroughly assess the strengths of our talented team and strategically reorganize to ensure we continue to lead the way in college sports. These promotions clearly reflect our unwavering commitment to leadership and innovation, reinforcing the decision to promote from within.”
Ryan Alpert has been appointed as the Senior Deputy Athletics Director and Chief Revenue Officer. Albert will lead the revenue strategies. Alpert will manage critical areas such as the Neyland Entertainment District, business and finance, capital projects, and UT’s Nike contract.
Cam Walker has been elevated to Senior Deputy Athletics Director and Chief Strategy Officer. Walker has served as the sport administrator for the Vols’ football team. In his new capacity, he will oversee a wide range of essential areas, including compliance and legal affairs, facilities and grounds, event operations, sports administration, and initiatives related to Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL).
