Tennessee analyst McKenzie Milton returning to his alma mater
Tennessee offensive analyst McKenzie Milton is leaving the Vols to return to his alma mater of Central Florida as a part of Scott Frost’s staff in Orlando.
Milton was hired by Josh Heupel in May of 2023 to be an analyst for the offense.
“McKenzie represents everything that is great about college football,” Heupel said in hiring Milton. “His perseverance, determination and leadership are attributes that made him successful as a player and will no doubt translate to him being an outstanding future coach. He’s always been a student of the game and understands the why behind what we do.”
Milton will serve as Frost’s quarterback coach in his first on the field job. Milton is a hero at UCF as he was a two time American Athletic Conference offensive play of the year. He helped engineer perfect regular seasons at UCF in 2017 and 2018. Milton played at UCF from 2016-2020 which included three years under Heupel, where he thrived.
