Tennessee took care of business on a chilly Sunday afternoon, securing the series-sweep over Dayton with the 6-0 shutout score. Drew Beam was solid over his 5.1 innings pitched and Blake Burk launched a pair of solo hoe runs.

Christian Moore also drove in a pair of Vols on the day as Tennessee (6-2) finished scoring six runs off eight hits with no errors in the field. Dayton was kept off the scoreboard, scoring no runs off only two hits. The Flyers also committed two more errors in the field Sunday afternoon, bringing the total to 11 on the weekend.

Josh Elander is now 8-0 as acting head coach of the Tennessee baseball team.
