Cameron Leary’s solo home run in the top of the 10th inning proved to finally be the difference as the visiting Boston College Eagles knocked off the Tennessee Volunteers, 7-6.

The win-streak for UT is snapped at 11 games as the loss was in back-and-forth affair and it was the first home midweek Power Five contest since 2009.

Seth Halvorsen (1-1) is credited with the loss after surrendering the lead back to the Eagles in the xtra-frame. Matthew Nunan is awarded the victory for Boston College (9-1) after being the last pitcher on the mound prior to taking the lead in the 10th inning. The Eagles extended their win-streak to nine games.
