Tennessee Chancellor Donde Plowman responds to NCAA
On Tuesday, it was first reported by Sports Illustrated that the NCAA is looking into Tennessee’s athletic department in regards to NIL practices. The report said multiple sports were a part of the inquiry. Tennessee has not received a letter of allegations and hasn’t released any statement. However, University of Tennessee Chancellor Donde Plowman responded directly to NCAA President Charlie Baker on Monday in documents obtained by Volquest through the Freedom of Information Act.
The University’s Knoxville campus leader who’s an industry leader having worked directly with the NCAA and the SEC in a variety of ways the last few years made her thoughts very clear to the newly appointed president of college sports governing body.
