Fast Break: No. 1 Tennessee cruises to a 46-point win over Western Carolina
No. 1 Tennessee moved to 11-0 on the season after the Vols were unchallenged in a 82-36 win over Western Carolina Tuesday night.
Tennessee was led in scoring by Chaz Lanier, who had 19 points and added seven rebounds and four assists. Zakai Zeigler finished just one assist shy of just the second triple-double in program history, finishing with 10 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists.
Coming off a career night at Illinois, Jordan Gainey stayed warm adding 17 points off the bench and Hofstra transfer Darlinstone Dubar continues to find his way in the rotation. Dubar has a season high 13 points.
Tennessee’s defense continues to play well. They held the Catamounts scoreless for the final 7:57 of the first half and limited them to just 15 first half points.
