The offensive line and this teams ability to not flinch—That’s two weeks in a row for me, but I’m buying the offensive line stock big time. Two negative rushing plays allowed. One said which was as much on Hendon Hooker as anything and then one pressure that caused the interception. This line is playing at a level I didn’t anticipate from a physicality standpoint. To rush for 182 yards averaging nearly 5 yards a carry and to average 18.3 yards a completion is some serious work by the offensive front.
I’m with Austin this week in that I’m not selling any stock on this team right now. This team’s ability to look any kind of adversity in the eye and not flinch is pretty incredible. Following the interception, the defense gets a stop and gives up no points. Following the fumble scoop and score, Hendon Hooker and the offense never blinked as they drove the length of the field to tie the game. It says a lot about Josh Heupel and his staff and the toughness of this team and it’s leadership starting with Hooker. — Brent Hubbs
Jalin Hyatt —Is anyone’s stock on this team higher than Tennessee’s record setting receiver. Hyatt had 6 catches for 207 yards and a school record 5 touchdowns. Hyatt averaged 34.5 yards a catch on Saturday. Hyatt remains one of the best stories on this team and frankly in all of college football. The transformation of the South Carolina native has been incredible. — Austin Price

CB Health — The injury bug and the unknown status of Jaylen McCollough has hit the Vol secondary hard. Warren Burrell is out of the year. Christian Charles is battling a hamstring. De’Shawn Rucker went out of the game on Saturday. Kamal Hadden didn’t play with a tender hamstring.

This weekend is an opportunity to get a lot of young guys snaps and Tennessee needs to get as many guys as they can ready for the back half of the season. — Austin Price

The depth — It’s certainly being tested in the secondary where the Vols are battling injuries and the absence of Jaylen McCollough. Tennessee should be fine this week, but what does the depth of that group look like heading into Kentucky and the stretch run of league play. And then offensively, can they stay injury free. They have handled the injury to Cedric Tillman well, but Tennessee played 14 offensive players on Saturday against the Tide. They just don’t have a lot of depth they are comfortable with at this point. Can this week help them earn trust in guys if they need them the back half of the season— Brent Hubbs
Getting to the quarterback — Tennessee is getting pressure on the quarterback and Saturday they moved Bryce Young off his spot all afternoon. Tennessee has 53 quarterback hurries on the season and 15 sacks. Five of those fifteen came at LSU. Tennessee is getting close to the quarterback, but haven’t gotten him on the ground enough. Over the back half of the season can Tim Banks’ defense turn more quarterback hurries into sacks? — Austin Price
