Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel offers an early look at Kentucky, updates injuries
Tennessee turns their attention to Kentucky and back to SEC life following their 65-24 relaxing homecoming win over UT-Martin.
Head coach Josh Heupel met with the media on Monday to recap the win which saw a lot of young players getting to play and veterans relaxing at least of half of football.
Heupel also discussed Tennessee opponent — the Kentucky Wildcats. Mark Stoops’ team is coming off an open date that followed their most complete win of the season. Kentucky beat Mississippi State 27-17. The Wildcats rushed for 239 yards as Chris Rodriguez Jr. had 197 yards on 31 carries. Quarterback Will Levis, who most project as a top 10 NFL draft pick, is healthy after a week off as he battles turf toe.
