Odds set for Tennessee Baseball's Knoxville Regional at Lindsey Nelson Stadium
Tennessee Baseball is the overwhelming favorite to advance out of the Knoxville Regional this weekend at Lindsey Nelson Stadium, according to odds set by Circa Sports. The Vols were listed at -375, ahead of Southern Miss at +470, Indiana at +775 and Northern Kentucky at +5000.

No. 1 Tennessee (50-11) hosts No. 4 Northern Kentucky (35-22) at 7 p.m. Eastern Time Friday on SEC Network. Indiana (32-24-1), the No. 3 seed in the four-team pod, and No. 2 Southern Miss (41-18) open play in Knoxville Friday at Noon ET, with the game televised by ESPN+.
“Scrappy is a word that comes up often and I’m referring to their team,” Tennessee coach Tony Vitello said of Northern Kentucky on Wednesday. “I think we have the ability to do that too but I think by nature that’s been who they are. They’re very well coached. And it’s easy if you hear their Coach (Dizzy Peyton) speak, he’s very well spoken.
“Since they’ve been there, they’re certainly no stranger to SEC opponents or SEC caliber opponents. I know they’ve played Kentucky and gone in and beaten Mississippi State before. They’ve beaten Missouri.”
The Game 1 and Game 2 losers in the Knoxville Regional will play Saturday at 12 p.m. ET and the winners will match up at 6 p.m. ET. Game 3’s winner and Game 4’s loser play Sunday at 12 p.m. ET and the Game 4 winner plays the Game 5 winner Sunday at 6 p.m. ET. Game 7 of the regional will be played on Monday, if necessary. Television designations for Saturday and Sunday are to be determined.
