Tennessee’s 2025 baseball recruiting class keeps on getting better with a trio of commitments from top-100 players the past two weeks.

At current standing, the Vols are slated No. 3 in Perfect Game team rankings with 23 commits and four top-100 players. Tony Vitello added LHP Cameron Appenzeller (No. 22 overall) Monday morning following his official visit weekend to Knoxville and flipped middle infielder Ethan Moore (No. 94 overall) from Louisville on Thursday. UT only trails LSU (No. 1) and Texas (No. 2) in the 2025 team rankings, having leaped Arkansas this week from No. 4 into No. 3.

SS Billy Carlson (No. 5 overall) committed to Tennessee two weeks ago and the top-2025 target left on the board is LHP/LHH Kruz Schoolcraft (No. 8 overall), who was on campus for the Alabama football game weekend for an official visit. He will choose between Tennessee, Texas A&M, Florida, Oregon, Oregon State and many more.

Following Moore’s pledge on Thursday, the other top-100 commitment in the 2025 class for Tennessee is OF Taylor Tracey (No. 75 overall). Here’s a breakdown of Tennessee’s top-100 player commitments + top-remaining target Kruz Schoolcraft. It goes without saying that all of these Tennessee commits will be draft risks.
