Tennessee basketball’s February 28 home game against Auburn is officially sold out, the Vols announced on social media on Friday morning. It’s the sixth confirmed sellout of the season, a new program record at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Other games that are already sold out are Alabama on January 20, Texas A&M on February 24 and Kentucky on March 9, the regular-season finale.

SEC play opened Saturday with Tennessee’s 90-64 win over Ole Miss in front of a capacity crowd in Knoxville, a month after the Vols beat Illinois at home in front of a sold-out crowd.

Last season Tennessee tied a program record with five sellouts at Thompson-Boling Arena, matching a mark that dated back to 1987-88. It’s the 37th season for the Vols at the arena, the third-largest on-campus basketball facility in the county.

It was also announced Friday that limited tickets remain for the LSU game on February 7 and the Vanderbilt game on February 17.

After a wire-to-wire 80-70 win at Wisconsin on November 10, Tennessee has lost its last two true road games, losing 100-92 at North Carolina on November 29 and at Mississippi State on Wednesday.

Tennessee basketball season tickets sold-out during preseason

The Vols announced on November 1 they had officially sold out the allotment of 14,500 season tickets at Thompson-Boling Arena this season.

It’s the seventh consecutive full-capacity season with more than 13,000 season tickets sold for men’s basketball.
