No. 1 Tennessee is sticking as a No. 1 seed in ESPN’s Bracketology from Joe Lunardi. The NCAA Tournament bracket projection was updated on Tuesday, with the Vols remaining a No. 1 seed and the No. 2 overall seed behind Auburn.

Lunardi on Tuesday had 13 SEC teams making the NCAA Tournament, including eight teams seeded fifth or higher. Not only did the league have two No. 1 seeds in Tennessee and Auburn, there were three No. 2 seeds from the SEC in Alabama, Florida and Kentucky.

The Wildcats were projected as a No. 1 seed last week, before losing 85-65 to Ohio State on Saturday at Madison Square Garden.

Texas A&M and Mississippi State are both currently No. 4 seeds and Oklahoma is a No. 5 seed. Ole Miss is next as a No. 5 seed, Georgia is a No. 8 seed and Arkansas is a No. 9 seed. Texas is a No. 10 seed and Missouri is a No. 11 seed in the First Four.

On Monday Tennessee stayed at No. 1 in the Associated Press Top 25 and the Coaches Poll for a third straight week, but No. 2 Auburn closed the gap in first-place votes for a second week in a row.
