No. 5 Tennessee gets a second look at Vanderbilt on Saturday afternoon inside a sold-out Food City Center in Knoxville, a little less than a month removed from the Commodores beating the Vols 76-75 in Nashville. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. Eastern Time on SEC Network.

Tennessee (20-5, 7-5 SEC) is coming off the 75-64 loss at Kentucky Tuesday night at Rupp Arena, where the Vols rallied from down nine points early in the second half to lead 60-58 with just under five minutes left, before the Wildcats took control with a 12-2 run.

Vanderbilt (17-7, 5-6) is coming off an 80-68 loss to No. 1 Auburn Tuesday night at Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville.

Tennessee lost 76-75 at Vanderbilt on January 11, after Chaz Lanier missed what would have been a game-tying free throw with 2.8 seconds after a rally from down 16 points in the second half. 

Lanier scored a team-high 17 points in the loss and Zakai Zeigler had 16 points, 10 assists and three rebounds. Felix Okpara had 16 points on 7-for-7 shooting and Igor Milicic Jr. had 16 points and five boards. 

Jason Edwards led Vandy with 18 points in the win. Jaylen Carey had 14 points and 10 rebounds off the bench, Tyler Nickel scored 13 and AJ Hoggard had 11.

Tennessee currently projected as a No. 2 seed in NCAA Tournament Bracketology

Tennessee dropped from a No. 1 seed to a No. 2 seed in ESPN Bracketology after the loss at Kentucky, going from the No. 4 overall seed to No. 5.

The new bracket projection from ESPN on Friday had Tennessee in the East Region, where Duke was the No .1 seed. The Vols were matched up against No. 15 Towson in Cleveland, opposite of No. 7 Louisville and No. 10 West Virginia.

After hosting Vanderbilt, Tennessee goes back on the road for two games, going to Texas A&M on February 22, then to LSU on February 25. The Vols close the regular-season schedule in March with home dates against Alabama (March 1) and South Carolina (March 8), sandwiched around a trip to Ole Miss (March 5).
