Neyland Stadium will go into Dark Mode for Tennessee Football games on the new College Football 26 video game from EA Sports. Images revealed on Wednesday showed the home of the Vols with the lights out, with players running through a lit up ‘T’ formed by the Pride of the Southland Band, with spotlights bouncing around the stadium.

EA Sports brought back the college football franchise last July after a 13-year hiatus. College Football 26 will be released on July 10. The cover athletes this year are Alabama wide receiver Ryan Williams and Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith.

For night games at Neyland Stadium, Tennessee turns off the lights just before the Vols run onto the field, with spotlights lighting up the ‘T’ while other spot lights bounce around the crowd.

The Vols have sold out 20 straight games at Neyland Stadium

The Vols announced in April that they have sold out the season-ticket allotment of 70,500 for a third straight year. Another 23,755 fans are currently on a season-ticket waiting list.

Last season Tennessee averaged a sold-out crowd of 101,915 fans over seven home games, going a perfect 7-0 in front of a total of 713,405 fans. Both totals ranked sixth nationally.

Neyland Stadium has been sold out for 20 straight games, dating back to a 63-6 win over Akron on September 17, 2022. All seven home games of the 2023 season were sold out and the final six home games of the 2022 season were capacity crowds.

Tennessee is 24-4 at home during the Josh Heupel era. The Vols are 18-1 over their last 19 home games, dating back to the start of the 2022 season and 20-1 at home since the start of the 2022 season, with the only loss being against No. 1 Georgia. The 20 wins since 2022 are third nationally in the FBS and tied for first in the SEC.

Tennessee opens 2025 season against Syracuse in Atlanta

Tennessee opens the season on August 30 in Atlanta against Syracuse. The Vols host ETSU in the home opener at Neyland Stadium on September 6 and SEC play starts at home against Georgia on September 13.

UAB comes to Knoxville on September 20 and the Vols go to Mississippi State on September 27 in the first SEC road game of the season. After an open date on October 4, Tennessee hosts Arkansas (October 11) then goes to Alabama (October 18) and Kentucky (October 25).

In November the Vols host Oklahoma (November 1) and New Mexico State (November 15), go to Florida (November 22) and close the regular-season schedule at home against Vanderbilt (November 29).
