The two least likely opponents are Indiana and SMU, both at +30000. Tennessee defeating Georgia is +8000, Tennessee defeating Notre Dame is +10000 and Tennessee defeating Boise State is +25000.
On the flip side, Tennessee losing to Georgia or Penn State in the championship game as the lowest odds, at +7500. Notre Dame beating the Vols is +10000 and Boise State, Indiana or SMU beating Tennessee have +50000 odds.

Tennessee is the No. 9 seed in the 12-team playoff bracket and goes to No. 8 Ohio State on December 21 in the first round. The game will start at 8 p.m. Eastern Time and will be televised by ABC and ESPN.
The winner advances to face No. 1 Oregon. The Ducks beating Penn State has the lowest championship exacta odds at +900. Oregon beating Georgia is +1000, along with Texas beating Georgia and Texas beating Penn State.
Ohio State is +1400 to beat Georgia or Penn State.

The first playoff game will be played on Friday, December 20, with No. 10 Indiana (11-1) at No. 7 Notre Dame (11-1) at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and ESPN, ahead of a tripleheader the following day.

No. 11 SMU (11-2) at No. 6 Penn State (11-2) will start at Noon Eastern Time on TNT, followed by No. 12 Clemson at No. 5 Texas (11-2) at 4 p.m. ET on TNT, then No. 9 Tennessee (10-2) at No. 8 Ohio State (10-2) at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN and ABC.
The quarterfinals will be played on Tuesday, December 31 and Wednesday, January 1, with all four games on ESPN.
No. 3 Boise State will play the Penn State-SMU winner in the Fiesta Bowl on December 31 and a New Year’s Day tripleheader starts with No. 4 Arizona State against the Texas-Clemson winner in the Peach Bowl at 1 p.m. ET. No. 1 Oregon will face the Tennessee-Ohio State winner in the Rose Bowl at 5 p.m. ET and No. 2 Georgia gets the Notre Dame-Indiana winner in the Sugar Bowl at 8:45 p.m. ET.
The semifinals will be played in the Orange Bowl on January 9 and the Cotton Bowl on January 10. The 2025 national championship game will be played on Monday, January 20 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
