Tennessee announces start time, details for the Orange & White Game at Neyland Stadium

Tennessee Football’s Orange & White Game on April 12 at Neyland Stadium will be a 2 p.m. Eastern Time start. Tickets for the game will be $10 and will go on sale on Friday, according to information released by the Vols on Thursday.
Capacity at the stadium will be reduced to around 45,000 due to ongoing renovations. The annual split-squad spring game will not be televised but can be heard on The Vol Network radio broadcast.
Tennessee is scheduled to start spring practice Friday morning.
White won 21-14 against Orange a year ago, when Neyland Stadium renovations limited the fan capacity to 10,000.
Nico Iamaleava threw for 96 yards and a touchdown and Mike Matthews and Chris Brazzell caught touchdown passes in the second half. The Matthews touchdown went for 63 yards on a pass from Gaston Moore and Brazzell’s was 71 from freshman Jake Merklinger.
2025 Season Opener: Tennessee vs. Syracuse, Atlanta, August 30
Tennessee opens the 2025 season against Syracuse on August 30 in Atlanta in the Aflac Kickoff game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The Vols host ETSU in the home opener at Neyland Stadium on September 6 and SEC play starts at home against Georgia on September 13. UAB comes to Knoxville on September 20 and the Vols go to Mississippi State on September 27 in the first SEC road game of the season.
After an open date on October 4, Tennessee hosts Arkansas (October 11) then goes to Alabama (October 18) and Kentucky (October 25). In November the Vols host Oklahoma (November 1) and New Mexico State (November 15), go to Florida (November 22) and close the regular-season schedule at home against Vanderbilt (November 29).
BetOnline has Tennessee’s win total set at 9.5 for the 2025 season. The Vols opened at 8.5 wins before the 2024 season. Georgia and Texas have win totals at 10 and Alabama’s win total is nine. Syracuse has a win total set at 5.5.

Tennessee the third-lowest odds to win the SEC next season, according to odds recently released by SportsBetting.ag. The outlet had the Vols tied with Alabama at 6/1 to win the conference, behind on Texas at 2/1 and Georgia at 3/1.
LSU was fifth at 8/1, Ole Miss is 10/1 and Texas A&M is 16/1. South Carolina had 22/1 odds, Auburn was 28/1 and Florida was 33/1.
FanDuel sets Tennessee’s national title odds, Nico Iamealeava Heisman odds
FanDuel in January gave Tennessee the eighth-best odds to win the national championship, tied with Clemson at +1800. Ohio State was the favorite to defend its national title at +450, ahead of Texas and Oregon at +650, then Georgia (+700), Penn State (+850), Notre Dame (+1200) and Alabama (+1600).
FanDuel also set Heisman Trophy odds, with Nico Iamaleava tied for the second-lowest odds.
He was one of four players with +1200 odds to win the Heisman Trophy, alongside Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik, Penn State quarterback Drew Allar and Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith.
Texas quarterback Arch Manning and LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier were the early Heisman favorites at +850.
