Tennessee football on Sunday opened as a 10-point home underdog for Saturday afternoon’s game against No. 1 Georgia at Neyland Stadium, according to Circa Sports. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time as the SEC Game of the Week on CBS.

The Vols (7-3, 3-3 SEC) lost 36-7 at Missouri on Saturday. Georgia (10-0, 7-0) beat Ole Miss 52-17 Saturday night at Sanford Stadium in Athens.

The two-time defending national champion Bulldogs have won 27 straight games, including 16 SEC games in a row, dating back to a loss to Alabama in the SEC Championship game in December 2021.

Tennessee ran its home win streak to 14 straight games last week with the 59-3 win over UConn. The last home loss was on November 13, 2021 against Georgia. The Vols have played in front of 11 straight sold-out crowds at Neyland Stadium, too, dating back to the second game of the 2022 season.

Josh Heupel suffered his most lopsided loss as Tennessee’s head coach in the 29-point defeat at Missouri on Saturday. The Tigers rushed for 255 yards, the most the Vols have given up on the ground, and passed for 275 yards, the second-highest total allowed by Tennessee’s defense this season.

Georgia enters Saturday’s game ranked No. 6 in scoring offense (40.6), sixth in passing offense (323.9 yards per game) and fifth in total offense (504.8). Defensively Georgia is sixth in scoring allowed (15.1), ninth in total defense (289.2), 15th against the pass (181.3) and 19th against the run (107.9).
