ORLANDO – Tennessee and Iowa head football coaches Josh Heupel and Kirk Ferentz concluded a week’s worth of practice and media coverage prior to Monday’s Citrus Bowl with a joint head coach press Conference in conference room five of the Rosen Plaza Hotel.

Both Tennessee and Iowa arrived on Tuesday, December 26 and hit the practice field the following day. The Vols worked out at Central Florida, the former stomping grounds of Josh Heupel and the majority of his offensive staff, along with defensive backs coach Willie Martinez. The Hawkeyes took up camp at Celebration High School throughout the week.

There were multiple media availabilities from each practice complex, as well as a captains and coordinators press conference earlier in the week. The teams took part in a Golf Top outing on Friday night and a Kids Event at Fun Spot America on Saturday morning.

Now with Sunday’s joint head coach press conference, the week of preparation and hype is done and up next will be the playing of the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl.

Brent Hubbs and Austin Price detail all that was said Sunday morning and handoff some of the latest intel on the Exterior Home Solutions 2-Minute Drill.

It will be the first time since 2002 the Vols have played in the Citrus Bowl and the fourth all-time meeting against the Hawkeyes.
