Jacob Warren, Tennessee’s hometown tight end out of Knoxville’s Farragut High School, has lived out a childhood dream playing for the Vols. That dream isn’t over, though. The 6-foot-6, 250-pound, redshirt senior announced on social media on Wednesday that he’ll be returning to Tenenssee for his final season of eligibility:

Vol Nation,

My time in Knoxville has been amazing. I love this place and the people that I have been on this journey with the past few years.

Being a hometown kid, playing at this university has been a dream of mine since I was little and I am beyond blessed that I have had the opportunity to fulfill that dream.

However, I believe I have more to prove in this chapter of my life.

With that being said, I will be returning for my final year of eligibility and playing one more season at Tennessee.

I appreciate you all for the endless support and look forward to one more ride in Neyland Stadium.

Go Vols

Glory be to God

Warren was a three-star prospect in the 2018 recruiting cycle, ranked by the On3 Consensus as the No. 38 tight end in the class. He was ranked No. 19 among in-state prospects and No. 664 overall.
