Where Tennessee's 2025 recruiting class is ranked after officially adding David Sanders
Josh Heupel made it clear in his many conversations with David Sanders. The Tennessee head coach want the Five-Star+ offensive tackle and top-ten prospect to be the headliner in the 2025 recruiting class for the Vols.
“Tennessee has been in it from the very beginning,” Sanders said Thursday during an appearance on The Paul Finebaum Show on SEC Network, where he announced his signing with Tennessee. “They offered me as a freshman in high school and they’ve been kind of on me every year.
“They’re just expressing to me that I was a priority in their class and a must get for the class of 2025. Coach Heupel has expressed to me many times that I’m the leader of this class, and he wants me to come in and really lead them, along with our quarterback and other recruits that we have as well.”
