Tennessee commit Tyreek King invited to Justin Jefferson's 'Flight School' receiver camp

Tennessee Football commitment Tyreek King is one of 18 elite wide receiver prospects who has been invited to Justin Jefferson’s Flight School Camp in Bradenton, Fla., this weekend.
It’s the first year for Jefferson’s three-day camp, which is held at IMG Academy and billed as hosting the top 18 high school receivers across the country.
King is ranked by On3 as the No. 10 overall wide receiver in the 2026 class. He’s the No. 75 overall player in the class and the No. 3 in-state prospect, out of Knoxville’s Catholic High School.
King committed to Tennessee in October and announced on May 13 that he was officially shutting down his recruitment.
“I’ve been knowing where home was from the beginning,” King said on social media. “Tennessee’s culture is something I want to be a part of. Best fit for me and knowing I’m for sure gonna develop, no place like the Vols, been home!!!”
Tennessee currently has eight commitments in 2026 class
King is one of eight commitments the Vols currently have in their 2026 recruiting class and is the third-highest ranked prospect among the group. The class is ranked No. 12 nationally and is No. 5 in the SEC with a class score of 90.70.
Five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon headlines the group, ranked No. 13 overall in the On3 Industry Ranking. He’s the No. 3 quarterback in the class and the No. 1 player in the state of North Carolina.

Tyreek King moved up 48 spots in most recent On3 rankings update
King was one of the biggest climbers in the On300 rankings update three weeks ago, when he moved up 48 spots, going from No. 124 overall to No. 76.
King is ranked No. 121 overall in the On3 Industry Ranking, where he is the No. 17 wide receiver and the No. 5 prospect in the state of Tennessee.
“King is one of the better athletes at receiver in the 2026 cycle, On3 Director of Scoutings and Rankings Charles Power wrote in his scouting report. “We had a chance to see him in person at the Nashville Under Armour camp as well. And we just came away impressed with the twitch and the explosion.
“He has been a productive, borderline dominant receiver at the high school level. And seeing him against that competition helped us understand where he stacks up in the group of wideouts. He’s a really explosive receiver who can line up all over the formation, can win both deep and underneath. And he’s dangerous with the ball in his hands.”
