Tennessee Football has third-lowest odds to win SEC in 2025

Tennessee Football has the third-lowest odds to win the SEC next season, according to SportsBetting.ag. The outlet has the Vols tied with Alabama at 6/1 to win the conference, behind on Texas at 2/1 and Georgia at 3/1. 

LSU is fifth at 8/1, Ole Miss is 10/1 and Texas A&M is 16/1. South Carolina has 22/1 odds, Auburn is 28/1 and Florida is 33/1. 

Next is Missouri at 50/1 and Oklahoma at 66/1. Arkansas is 100/1, Kentucky and Vanderbilt are both 300/1 and Mississippi State is last at 500/1. 

Ohio State and Oregon are both 2/1 to win the Big Ten, ahead of Penn State at 3/1 and Michigan at 13/2. Kansas State and Arizona State are the favorites to win the Big 12 at 5/1 and Clemson is the favorite to win the ACC at 2/1, ahead of Miami at 5/2 and Louisville and SMU both at 5/1.

Vols open season August 30 vs. Syracuse in Atlanta

BetOnline has Tennessee’s win total set at 9.5 for the 2025 season. The Vols opened at 8.5 wins before the 2024 season. Georgia and Texas have win totals at 10 and Alabama’s win total is nine.

Syracuse, Tennessee’s season-opening opponent in Atlanta on August 30, has a win total set at 5.5. 

Tennessee hosts ETSU in the home opener at Neyland Stadium on September 6. SEC play starts at home against Georgia on September 13 and UAB comes to Knoxville on September 20. The Vols go to Mississippi State on September 27 in the first SEC road game of the season.

After an open date on October 4, Tennessee hosts Arkansas (October 11) then goes to Alabama (October 18) and Kentucky (October 25). In November the Vols host Oklahoma (November 1) and New Mexico State (November 15), go to Florida (November 22) and close the regular-season schedule at home against Vanderbilt (November 29).

FanDuel sets Tennessee’s national title odds, Nico Iamealeava Heisman odds

FanDuel in January gave Tennessee the eighth-best odds to win the national championship, tied with Clemson at +1800. Ohio State was the favorite to defend its national title at +450, ahead of Texas and Oregon at +650, then Georgia (+700), Penn State (+850), Notre Dame (+1200) and Alabama (+1600).

FanDuel also set Heisman Trophy odds, with Nico Iamaleava tied for the second-lowest odds.

He was one of four players with +1200 odds to win the Heisman Trophy, alongside Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik, Penn State quarterback Drew Allar and Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith

Texas quarterback Arch Manning and LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier were the early Heisman favorites at +850.
