Following a Tennessee 33-27 win at Kentucky this past weekend, a pair of Vols reeled in weekly honors from the Southeastern Conference.

Kicker Charles Campbell was named the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week while offensive tackle John Campbell Jr. was tabbed Co-Offensive Lineman of the Week.

Charles Campbell made good of all four of his field goals in the ballgame, each important in the six-point road win. The Tennessee native connected on kicks from 44, 49, 34 and 35 yards and enabled the Vols to have a two-score lead for much of the second half.

His 44-yard kick at the 5:34 mark of the first quarter handed Tennessee a 10-0 lead. Just inside the second quarter, Campbell’s longest field goal of 49 yards put the Vols ahead by 10 points again at 13-3. With seven seconds left in the first half, the 34-yard field goal allowed Tennessee a six-point lead at 33-27 and the 35-yard kick at the 6:49 mark of the third quarter gave the Vols a 26-17 advantage.

So far on the season, Charles Campbell has made 15-of-17 field goal attempts with his 49-yarder Saturday a season-high. The former Indiana Hoosier, that was added this past offseason via the transfer portal, is a perfect 15-for-15 on field goal attempts from 49 yards out this year.
