Tennessee announces uniform combination for Saturday's Homecoming game vs. UConn

Tennessee football will honor the late, legendary Pat Summitt this weekend by wearing blue accents with its traditional home uniform for Saturday’s Homecoming game against UConn at Neyland Stadium. The Vols and Huskies are scheduled for a Noon Eastern Time start on SEC Network.

The uniform will be orange jerseys, white pants and Summitt blue wristbands and arm sleeves.

“November (is) Alzheimer’s Awareness Month and we have a unique opportunity to honor the legacy of Pat Summitt,” Tennessee coach Josh Heupel said during his press conference on Monday.

“We’ll be doing that at the game with our uniform, but we’ll also be doing it with a commemorative cup that everybody can purchase (with) $1 (from each) purchase, all that will go to the UT Medical research on Alzheimer’s.”

Uniform Combinations This Season

Tennessee was in its traditional home uniform with orange jerseys and white pants in the 20-13 win over Texas A&M. The Vols wore their ‘Dark Mode’ alternate uniform against South Carolina on September 30 and wore orange pants and orange jerseys in the win over UTSA the previous week.

They were in orange jerseys and white pants in the 49-13 win over Virginia on September 2 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville and wore their ‘Artful Dodger’ Smokey Grey alternate uniform in the 30-13 win over Austin Peay on September 9.

The ‘Dark Mode’ alternate uniform worn against South Carolina features a black helmet with a black face mask, an orange helmet stripe and orange Power T logos on the sides. The black jerseys are feature orange numbers and the black pants feature two orange stripes.
