Win totals set for three of Tennessee Football's 2025 opponents

Win totals have been set for three of Tennessee Football opponents on the 2025 schedule, according to FanDuel. Georgia’s is set at 9.5 wins, Alabama’s is 8.5 and Florida’s is 6.5.

Tennessee’s win total, following the 10-3 season in 2024, is 9.5. 

Georgia went 11-3 last season, including a 31-17 win over Tennessee in Athens on November 16. The Bulldogs made the 12-team College Football Playoff, losing to Notre Dame 23-10 in the Sugar Bowl in the quarterfinal round. 

Alabama went 9-4 in its first season under Kalen DeBoer, including a 24-17 loss at Tennessee on October 19, and lost to Michigan in the Reliaquest Bowl after being left out of the College Football Playoff.

Win total for Vols in 2025: 9.5

Florida started 4-5, including a 23-17 overtime loss at Tennessee on October 12, then won four straight games to end the season. The Gators capped the year with a 33-8 win over Tulane in the Gasparilla Bowl. They beat Ole Miss 24-17 in Gainesville on November 23 to help the Vols reach the College Football Playoff. 

Tennessee’s win total entering the 2024 season was nine wins, with the Vols finishing 10-3, making the College Football Playoff as the No. 9 seed. The season ended in a 42-17 loss at Ohio State at Ohio Stadium on December 21.

Tennessee has won 30 games over the last three seasons, going 11-2 in 2022, 9-4 in 2023 and 10-3 this season. 

Tennessee opens season vs. Syracuse on August 30 in Atlanta

After opening the season in Atlanta against Syracuse, Tennessee hosts ETSU in the home opener at Neyland Stadium on September 6. SEC play starts at home against Georgia on September 13 and UAB comes to Knoxville on September 20. The Vols go to Mississippi State on September 27 in the first SEC road game of the season.

Tennessee has an open date on October 4, then hosts Arkansas on October 11, then goes to Alabama on October 18 and Kentucky on October 25. 

In November the Vols host Oklahoma on November 1 and New Mexico State on November 15, go to Florida on November 22 and close the regular-season schedule at home against Vanderbilt on November 29.

Tennessee and Syracuse will meet in the Aflac Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on August 30. The total is set at 55.5. Tennessee opened at -480 on the money line while Syracuse was listed at +360.
