Tennessee’s Women’s College World Series history

Tennessee is in the Women’s College World Series for the ninth time and is still looking for its first national championship. The Lady Vols have finished runner-up twice, in 2007 and 2013.

Oklahoma beat the Lady Vols twice in the 2013 championship series to win the title and Arizona won in three games for the 2007 national title.

Tennessee beat Alabama 10-5 to start the Women’s College World Series in 2023, then lost 9-0 to Oklahoma. The Lady Vols beat Oklahoma State, but were then eliminated in a 5-1 loss to Florida State.

Last season Tennessee lost in three games to Alabama in the Knoxville Super Regional, finishing one win short of another WCWS trip.
