“One of the key objectives from our strategic plan ‘Rise Glorious’ was to attract goal-driven and intensely competitive teammates to strengthen our family-oriented, innovative and fearless culture and Allen is a tremendous addition to our leadership team,” White said last December in announcing the hiring of Greene. “Allen’s one of the most dynamic and engaging leaders I’ve been fortunate to work alongside, and I am thrilled to be able to add one of the stars of our profession and his wonderful family to Rocky Top.”

Greene has served in a variety of roles in his year at Tennessee including working on revenue growth as well as the ever changing landscape in the NIL world with the pending settlement in the House case.

When the Pitt job came open, one of the publicly stated criteria in the search for the new AD was someone with innovation and vision in the changing landscape of college athletics.
