Staley enjoying commitment to Tennessee

“There is a lot, man,” Staley told Volquest of his comfort in choosing Tennessee. “I am one hundred percent committed to Tennessee. I am just ready to be a Vol. I am ready to step on that campus and play some ball.”

When Staley chose Tennessee over Clemson, North Carolina and others, the long-standing relationship he had with the Vols played a vital role.

“Our relationship has probably been the same since they started recruiting me,” Staley said. “It is like father-son relationship. It is amazing. I get contact from that each week. I love Coach Pope, Coach Heup, and Coach Halzle. I love everybody on that coaching staff.”
