Vol Club Confidential: Dominic Bailey
Baltimore native Dominic Bailey has seen lots of growth both on and off the field since he arrived at Tennessee. The senior joined Vol Club Confidential sponsored by Knoxville Smiles this week to discuss going through senior day, even with the possibility of one more season,
“It was special,” Bailey said. “Just starting from when I came in to where it is now, is a surreal feeling to see our fan base out supporting us like that even though the always support us. But we are winning now so it felt good.”
He arrived during the odd Covid season of 2020 and now Tennessee is off to the college football playoff.
“I always felt like we had the players but we just needed more the structure to get to where we needed to be and that’s really helped us,” Bailey said.
He has learned so much but what is it that sticks out for him?
“Time is everything,” Bailey said. “You only have 24 hours in a day and so you have to make the most of it. if you waste time you are just going to get left behind.
