Vol Club Confidential: Jaxson Moi
Tennessee junior defensive tackle Jaxson Moi has been a great addition to Vol football in his first year after transferring from Stanford. He joined Vol Club Confidential sponsored by Knoxville Smiles to detail his transition.
“I knew coming into Tennessee that they had a pretty stacked defensive line room already,” Moi said. “I was very confident in my ability and my ability to play football the way I know how to play football. Just believing in myself coming here and earning the respect of my teammates. I’ve been blessed to see it all come into fruition here and it’s been a great experience so far and I just can’t wait to keep building on top of it.”

He has learned a lot since he got to Knoxville.
“Something that has been reemphasized to me is the importance of consistency,” Moi said. “As cliche as it sounds just coming in and being the same guy each day. The same dude that shows up to work when your body is hurting and you aren’t excited to practice. You have to learn to make yourself excited because that’s what the great ones do. Just learning under coach G has helped me so much. Just not as a football player but how to become a better person and better man in general.”
