For the first time since 1996, Tennessee will take on Ohio State in football. The Vols were tabbed as the nine seed and will travel to Columbus to battle an Ohio State team that is fresh off a loss to Michigan last weekend.

The first-round game at Ohio Stadium in Columbus will be played on Saturday, December 21, in an 8 p.m. Eastern Time start on ESPN and ABC.

The Vols (10-2) were the highest-seeded team to go on the road in the first round. Both head coaches will meet the media via Zoom on Sunday afternoon. Austin Price and Brent Hubbs discuss the selection committee and how things shook out for Tennessee and more in the Volquest 2-Minute Drill.
