In-state Flip target set to return to Knoxville
Tennessee has continued to persistently pursue Oakland High School (Tenn.) standout running back Daune Morris despite his long-time pledge to USC. This weekend the Vols will get Morris back to campus in hopes of building momentum in the late stages of this recruitment.
“For sure being around the coaches more,” Morris told Volquest of what he will focus on during the visit. “I have been around them, but it has been a while. Being around the players again and experiencing that type of culture while being in Tennessee, it is different. I also want to see and experience the environment again.”
Coveted offensive targets return to campus to see Vols
Tennessee has been excellent at getting return visitors to campus during the recent home stand, and Saturday night will be no different. One headliner on the offensive side of the football this weekend will be Tristen Keys. The No.9 overall prospect in the 2026 On3 rankings is a top priority at the receiver spot and will get to spend plenty of time around Faizon Brandon, Tyreek King and Vols wide receiver coach Kelsey Pope during the visit.
The other headliner is the top rated running back in the On3 rankings in Savion Hiter. The Vols will have a chance to establish real momentum in this recruitment for the elite 2026 prospect. He has built a strong bond with De’Rail Sims and the staff and will get a more in-depth look at the offensive this weekend.
In-state ATH Joel Wyatt will also return to campus for the third straight game day, and the Vols will look to continue to build momentum with the top-35 prospect. Wyatt is currently rated as a receiver, but he has heard more from schools about playing on the defensive side of the football, and he is open to all options.
Elsewhere, Tennessee will host other highly sought-after targets such as 2026 OT Gabriel Osenda, 2027 RB David Gabriel-Georges, 2027 OT Kelsey Adams, 2027 RB David Segarra, 2026 WR Devin Carter, 2026 WR Jabari Brady.
