Tennessee football was well represented in the updated On300 rankings released Monday morning from both a commitment and target standpoint.

Following the update, Tennessee moved up one spot to No. 9 in the national rankings and up two spots to No. 5 in the Southeastern Conference with seven total commitments. Plenty of top-flight targets, who plan to be back on campus this spring in Knoxville, also shot up the board in the updated rankings.

We take a look at both below.

Tennessee commits in the updated On300

QB Faizon Brandon | No. 34 (-6) | Four-Star

Despite the slight drop from the Tennessee quarterback commit, Brandon still boasts as a stellar top-end prospect for the class to build around. The Greensboro, N.C. native is the third-ranked quarterback in the class (On3) and considered the No. 6 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Rankings. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound signal-caller is actively recruiting on Tennessee’s behalf and will be on campus this spring with plenty of targets around him.

WR Tyreek King | No. 122 (-49) | Four -Star

King ranked high on Kelsey Pope’s board and the Knoxville native went ahead and joined the class over the fall. On3 views him as the 14th-best wide receiver in the class and the No. 4 player out of Tennessee. King is a good route runner who adjusts to the ball well in flight. He’s quick and has good speed, projecting as a slot receiver at the next level.

WR Tyran Evans | No. 219 | Four-Star

Tennessee’s second wide receiver in the class is a new member of the On300 following a junior breakout campaign at William Amos Hough with 980 yards off 36 reception and 14 touchdowns. The Charlotte native averaged 27 yards per catch in 2024. In the new rankings, Evans jumped from No. 84 to the No. 31 wide receiver in the cycle.

Tennessee top-targets in the updated On300

Edge Rodney Dunham | No. 7 (+12) | 5-Star (Industry)

On3 Scout’s Take“Rodney Dunham has the look of a natural pass rusher. At around 6-foot-4, 215 pounds with plus length, he has a developmental frame along with excellent get-off and bend around the edge. Dunham is a coordinated athlete and shows encouraging flashes of pass rush skill. He makes impressive plays in pursuit. Dunham doesn’t turn 17 years-old until July, so he is younger for the cycle and has room to continue developing from a size and strength perspective.” – Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings

WR Tristen Keys | No. 8 (-1) | 5-Star (Industry)

On3 Scout’s Take: “Tristen Keys is the total package. He has that rare combination of fluidity and twitch that every coach is searching for at the receiver position. He does such a great job of sinking his hips at the top of his routes, especially at 6-foot-3, and exploding out. Plus he has the foot speed and body control to throttle up and down during his routes which keeps defenders on their heels. His pacing and timing is so advanced for someone his age and he has natural ball skills. He’s going to walk in and compete for a starting job very early on in his career.” – Cody Bellaire, On3 National Scout

RB Savion Hiter | No. 11 (-) | 5-Star (Industry)
LB Tyler Atkinson | No. 15 (-6) | 5-Star (Industry)
ATH Joel Wyatt | No. 29 (+6) | Four-Star
