With just one month until the December early signing period, we’re taking a look at where Texas A&M stands in the recruiting rankings. We will take a look at the headlining names in this class as well as who else could possibly join the class later on.

The most recent news to hit the Aggies class was when five-star linebacker Anthony Hill departed the class, an obviously major loss. His decommitment moved to the Aggies down to their current ranking at No. 15 in the On3 Consensus Recruiting Rankings.

Headlining the class is five-star defensive lineman David Hicks along with four other Top-100 prospects in the class, four of them being on the defensive side of the ball.

Along with the defensive unit, the Aggies have put together a very strong offensive line haul made up of a trio of four-star offensive linemen and a high-upside three star. Chase Bisontis is ranked as the No. 4 interior offensive lineman, TJ Shanahan is ranked as No. 7 and Colton Thomasson is ranked at No. 21 at the position. Naquil Bertrand is ranked as the No. 58 offensive tackle prospect.

The Texas A&M Class

After the most recent moves in the Texas A&M class, the Aggies sit at a score of 89.75, good for No. 15, placing them just behind Tennessee, who has a score of 91.399.

Texas A&M also remains very much in play for Top 100 prospects like five star safety Peyton Bowen, elite defensive back Javien Toviano, and other top prospects such as four-star offensive lineman Caden Jones. Along with Bowen, the Aggies are also working on some big flip targets such as five-star safety Tony Mitchell, five-star running back Rueben Owens, and five-star wide receiver Hykeem Williams. And that means the Aggies could move up the rankings again soon.

The full class along with the headliner, David Hicks, are Top-100 defensive backs Jayvon Thomas, Dalton Brooks, and Bravion Rogers. Also in the class is four-star offensive linemen Chase Bisontis and Colton Thomasson, four-star linebacker Daymion Sanford, three-star defensive lineman Samu Taumanupepe, three-star offensive lineman Naquil Bertrand, and the nations No. 1 punter, Tyler White.

It is not necessarily surprising that the Aggies have a small class. It was the expectation that the Aggies were going to be signing a smaller class this cycle.

Texas A&M is the No. 6 highest ranked SEC school.
