2015 signee will not attend UT

Texas loses a big piece of the Class of 2015 puzzle.
Cy-Falls 4-star DT Du’Vonta Lampkin will not be attending UT, he posted on twitter Saturday. The 6-foot-4, 305-pound interior defender was the only defensive tackle UT took in his class. This confirms a report from the Football Brainiacs, which mentioned OU and LSU as possible destinations.
Lampkin leaves a big hole at defensive tackle from the senior class. The Longhorns still have good depth at the spot with Hassan Ridgeway, Poona Ford, Alex Norman, Paul Boyette, and Chris Nelson, with Jake McMillon moonlighting as well.
It looks like Texas will need to sign at least three from the Class of 2016.
