2023 Kansas State Wildcats Post Mortem: Offense

The Texas offense offered excitement of every stripe on Saturday in a thrilling 33-30 win over Kansas State. The Horns gained 478 yards at 6.5 yards per clip against a Kansas State defense that had been dominating lower tier Big 12 competition, but the unit also had three critical turnovers, two of which set Kansas State up on second half short fields that allowed them back into a game that Texas led 27-7 halfway through the 3rd quarter. The Texas passing game also fizzled from Q2-Overtime, causing more fear and consternation to the Texas sideline than the Wildcat side of the ball.
