Texas held on for a 29-26 win over the 4-6 Frogs, moving to 9-1 and securing the lead position in the Big 12 race heading into Ames. After scoring 26 points and rolling up well in excess of 300 yards in the first half, the Texas offense ran out of intensity, arm strength and execution in the second half, managing only 3 points after the intermission against a very vulnerable Purple defense. Texas compiled 482 yards over 74 plays at 6.5 yards per play, but most of that was front loaded early with Quinn Ewers amassing 244 passing yards on 15 of 22 attempts in the first half of play. 74 yards of those yards came the easy way for #3 on this perfectly executed screen to Brooks.
