Kyle Flood’s constant search for Big Humans in the 2025 class led him to Cedar Hill, where one of the most athletic O-linemen in the state resides. 2025 Cedar Hill (Texas) OL Devin Coleman committed to the Longhorns today. Coleman, a 6-foot-5, 315-pounder, chose Texas over SMU, Oklahoma, and Baylor.

He had planned to officially visit Texas June 7-9 but elected to speed up his process and commit to the Longhorns before seeing Austin and other college campuses. Coleman received his Texas offer in February.

“It feels amazing to have received an offer from the University of Texas,” Coleman told Inside Texas after the offer.

Coleman is brothers with fellow 2025 Texas offer Jordan Coleman and 2025 defensive lineman Isaiah Coleman.

On3 ranks Coleman as the No. 121 interior offensive lineman and the No. 180 player in Texas.

He is the third O-lineman to join Texas’ 2025 recruiting class along with his brother Jordan and Port Neches (Texas) Port Neches-Groves’ Jackson Christian.

Evaluation from Charlie Williams

Coleman is a big human who is flexible and has great balance for his size. He’s physical at the point of attack and tries to punish defenders with great pad level. At well-over 310 pounds, Coleman has good feet and shows the ability to come to balance and block in the open field. Versatile player likely destined for guard at the next level. Great on screens and on pass protection, mirrors the defender without losing ground.
