2027’s Tre Moore and DeMarrion Johnson earned Texas offers today.

Moore, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound wide receiver from Pflugerville Weiss High School (class of 2027), received an offer from Texas on Junior Day. The talented playmaker has been gaining momentum in recruiting, adding this offer to a growing list that includes Alabama, Texas A&M, Michigan State, and Maryland. Moore now boasts over 21 offers from major programs such as Oregon, Ole Miss, and Texas Tech.

Known for his size, speed, and ability to dominate in 50/50 ball situations, Moore had an impressive sophomore season, recording 40 receptions for 562 yards and 7 touchdowns. His skill set and production have solidified him as one of the top wide receiver prospects in the 2027 class.

In Tyler, TX, Johnson, a 6-foot-7, 310-pound offensive lineman and Legacy prospect, also received an offer from Texas on Junior Day. Johnson’s recruitment has been heating up, with recent offers from Texas A&M and Michigan State, as well as Baylor and TCU late in 2024. He now holds 15 total offers from some of the nation’s top programs.

Johnson is a big, athletic lineman who has added significant strength and developed a nasty mentality, making him a force in the trenches. A unique aspect of his journey is the connection to Texas through his coaches, Lee Jackson and Beau Trahan, both former Longhorns. With his size, athleticism, and physicality, Johnson is establishing himself as one of the most sought-after offensive linemen in the 2027 class.
