A look at the 2023 offers from the Texas junior day

The theme for Saturday’s Texas junior day was to offer early and often. “Early” works in a couple of ways, as most of the offers were to players who are currently flying under the radar and just beginning their process. When you’re 5-7, if things break your way, you might be able to be selective with who you sign, but you can’t count on it and therefore can’t be as selective with offers early in the cycle. You can’t afford to fall behind. Yesterday was a good, old fashioned carpet bombing with a particularly local flavor.
