Aaron Bryant enters the transfer portal

Texas defensive lineman Aaron Bryant has entered the transfer portal, per On3’s Pete Nakos. Bryant, a 4-star recruit in the 2022 class, has played in 13 career games in his Texas career.

Bryant played versus Colorado State, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Florida in the 2024 season. He played in seven games in 2023 and two games in 2022. He has two career tackles to his name, one in 2023 and one in 2024.

He joins Derion Gullette and Tausili Akana as Longhorns who have elected to enter the transfer portal on December 9, the first day of its official opening.

A member of Texas’ 2022 class, Bryant was ranked as the No. 305 overall prospect, the No. 37 defensive lineman, and the No. 9 player in Mississippi. On3 ranked Bryant as the No. 293 overall prospect, the No. 32 defensive lineman, and the No. 8 player in Mississippi.
