Alabama and Texas players from each other's state
There will be a number of familiar players from the states of Texas and Alabama when the Longhorns and Crimson Tide take the field Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Recruiting the state of Texas has always been a successful goal of Nick Saban at Alabama. The Crimson Tide have eight scholarship players from the Lone Star State on the roster, including five in the two deep.
The Texas Longhorns are truly recruiting the state of Alabama for the first time under Steve Sarkisian. The move by Sarkisian and staff is expected with the move to the SEC having been known for two years now.
