The 6-foot-6, 334-pound interior offensive line prospect selected Texas over TCU, Vanderbilt and others.
Cojoe committed to the Longhorns following a June 24 weekend official visit. He made official visits to Vanderbilt and TCU prior to picking the Longhorns.
Texas offensive line coach Kyle Flood offered Cojoe in February of 2021. The Longhorns were the first program to offer the DFW area prospect.
Cojoe built a terrific relationship with Flood, and made several trips to Austin prior to making his announcement.

Cojoe adds to No. 7 ranked class
The commitment of Cojoe adds to the Longhorns’ No. 7 ranked recruiting class. The Longhorns vaulted to the top 10 of the On3 Consensus team rankings Thursday with the commitment of No. 1 overall prospect Arch Manning. Texas sported 11 commitments prior to Cojoe’s announcement. Along with On3 Consensus five-star Manning, Texas class features seven more On3 consensus four-star prospects.
With Manning in the fold, a second straight top five class looks like a slam dunk. The Texas weekend official visitor list included 10 four-star prospects.
According to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Andre Cojoe ranks as the No. 62 interior lineman and No. 137 prospect in Texas. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine gives the Longhorns the heavy edge. He plans to make a decision in August, but also said that whenever it feels right, he could make his decision.
