The 6-foot-3.5, 215-pounder tossed four second-half touchdowns, and added a rushing score showcasing functional athleticism in a thrilling 54-52 comeback victory.
Manning’s signature pass Friday night was a 4th-and-13 touchdown pass that showed much of the skill set that has him atop On3’s 2023 national prospect rankings. Manning scanned the field as the pocket began to break down, bought time and delivered a 40+ yard strike to the back of the end zone.
It was actually Manning’s legs that sparked the comeback for the Greenies after scoring on a 35-yard athletic scamper.
