The Longhorns took possession thanks to a Michael Taaffe interception, a fellow No. 16. Texas moved down the field thanks to a personal foul on Texas A&M, and tough running from Tre Wisner. Quinn Ewers, who started at quarterback, had a 26 yard rush to help Texas convert a third down opportunity.
Manning last played on November 9 versus Florida. He was 3-for-6 for 19 yards. For the year, he is 61-for-90 for 939 yards and nine touchdowns with two interceptions. He also has 17 carries for 81 yards and three rushing touchdowns.
